Lost in Love

Today is the day my true-love has gone away.
Will I see her again or is this time to mend?

I will love her forever - never look at another,
If it is God's will - then may her heart be still!

So she can hear His voice, and we can both rejoice,
For my love is pure and I know we could endure!

I can only be with her if she is 100% sure,
So I might have to wait - Sita, it will never be too late!

No one knows how I feel but I know my feelings are real!
I am not in any hurry - I'll wait for her eyes to become unblurry!

If she never comes around, my love for her will still abound.
I have never loved one so much - thinking of her gentle touch!

I know the Lord has a plan, I am just reaching out my hand!
For me it was never a game - but the way it started was a shame!

I wish we had gone a little slower, taken more time to really know her!
Would I be in this mess - Would we be looking at a wedding dress!

A fantasy that I can't think about - I am single have no doubt.
But don't try to get with me, because I love her for all to see!

So today is a little dramatic, my love for her had me ecstatic!
God has deemed we need time apart - maybe so we can get a fresh start!
