and tears after a beating, because we've been bad.
We cry tears during a sitcom, when we laugh too hard.
and tears at the show of Romeo & Juliet - from the bard.
Tears are salty as they run down our face,
It seems to be this way for the entire human race.
Humans aren't the only living thing to cry,
It seems trees' sap is tears after they dry.
Cats, dogs, birds and monkeys,
Cry tears also, as do the donkeys.
Are tears a way of relieving pain & grief?
When I cry, it does seem to bring some relief.
Some of us cry when no one is 'round,
Some of us cry no matter who is abound.
Don't cry in public, many will say,
Even if you're having the very worst day.
Don't be ashamed to cry tears of sorrow.
You may not have another tomorrow.
Express your feelings in the way you know best,
Be it a smile, a hug, I'm longing for the west.
Why is it this is a feeling we aren't to express,
If we don't, we find, it can lead to distress.
